In Math, students are continuing to work on: Understanding that the equal sign means, "The same as", by solving addition and subtraction equations with one variable.
Present students with equations, involving addition and subtraction, where there is one unknown number on either side of the equal sign.
Practice is need on the following type of equation:

In Language, students are writing a non-fiction brochure for a famous structure that includes:
*Text Features such as Headings and Subheadings and a variety of fonts
*Visual Literacy such as photographs, maps, charts
*Providing opinions and supporting opinions. We have been looking at ways that authors try to persuade an audience, i.e. using famous quotes, tugging at your heart-strings, and using numbers and factual information.
