In Math, students are working on recognizing when each operation (addition or subtraction) is appropriate to use.
Sample Questions: There are 583 students in Amy's school in the morning. 99 of the third -grade students leave for a field trip. How many students are left in school? or There are 61 third-grade students in Amy's school. 19 of them are in the library. How many are left in their classrooms?
In Language, students will be continuing to investigating biographies and writing a non-fiction report that includes:
*A topic sentence (introduces the topic)
*Supporting details (4 - 6 sentences about important events in their life)
*A concluding sentence (include a personal thought)
