We are beginning a new math strand: Number Sense and Numeration. Have your child look in newspapers or on the Internet for stories with numbers that are greater than 10 and less than 100 and are written out in words. What do those numbers represent? How would you write them in standard form ie Forty (word form), 40 (standard form).
