Word Wall Words this week are: really, probably, then, what, another.
In Math, students are finishing work on 3-d geometry. They are comparing and sorting prisms and pyramids by their geometric properties (i.e., number and shape of faces, number of edges, number of vertices). Students are encouraged to identify prisms and pyramids in their environment. Next unit will be addition and subtraction.
In Language, students have been writing friendly letters to students in Grade 2 about an animal of their choice. They are to use all 5 parts of a friendly letter: Heading, Greeting, Body, closing, and Signature.
